Huge midfield talent Lovro Zvonarek has joined Bayern München on a trial from his parent club Slaven Belupo. At only 15, he participated in the winter preparations this year with the senior Slaven Belupo squad and clocked in 45 minutes in a friendly against Orijent.

He is currently part of the Croatia U17 NT.

Croatia U15 - 5 caps

Croatia U16 - 4 caps / 2 goals

The 2 goals for the Croatia U16 were scored in a friendly tournament that was held in Osijek from 23-27 September last year.

You can see the 2 goals here. First against with a beautiful interception that led to an accurate and powerful shot that finished it off. Shows off his pace as well. Second came against with a beautiful turn to get rid of the Romanian CB and once again an accurate finish.

This past season he spent playing for the Slaven Belupo U17s in the Prva HNL U17. He's outgrown them too despite being only 15. His goalscoring record coming from MF is impressive.

Prva HNL U17 (20/21) - 14 games / 7 goals

Prva HNL U15 (19/20) - 18 games / 5 goals

He joined the Slaven Belupo academy from third tier club Mladost Prelog in 2016. The deal with Bayern München is still not done but it's sure looking like Lovro will land in the hands of the European champion. He's a massive talent and I hope he does well.

vs. Osijek U17 (21/3/2021) - 2 goals

vs. Istra 1961 U17 (7/4/2021) - 1 goal

vs. Cibalia U17 (30/4/2021) - 2 goals

Lovro Zvonarek (16) made his debut for Slaven Belupo against Rijeka, coming on in the 70th minute. At 16 years and 5 days old, he became the second ever youngest player in the Prva HNL, after Marko Dabro (16y 2d).

Lovro Zvonarek (16y, 14d) became the youngest ever Prva HNL goal scorer. Right ahead of Allen Halilović (16y, 3m, 19d).

Lovro Zvonarek has signed his first professional contract with Slaven Belupo until 2024. This practically rules out moving to Bayern Munchen. He also gets the number 10 shirt, could this mean he's gonna become a regular starter already at 16-years-old next season ?
