Ćubelić is one of the most talented players in Croatia. He currently plays for Hajduk's reserve team in the Second Croatian Divison. This season he got promoted straight from the clubs' U17s, skipping the U19s. He has bas been at Hajduk since 2013 when he joined from Adriatic.
He mainly plays as a central midfielder but can be used as a no.10 too. Ivan is a very creative player that possess great vision of the game for his age. Quick dribbler and thinker which makes him extremely press resistant. Impressive set piece taker as well.
Something that impressed me about him is that he's also very hardworking in defence, often tracking back no matter if he's playing CM or AM. Decent at areal duels too. His long shots are dangerous too, offering also offensive output.
He has 1 goal and 3 assists in just 357' for Hajduk II in the 2nd Croatian League this season. Last game he came on in the 76th minute and assisted 1 and scoring 1 goal from a FK to get Hajduk II a point against Opatija. After that performance, he's sure gonna be in the XI a lot more.
