One of the best talents in Juventus and in whole of Italy.
Borna never played for a big academy in Croatia. At the age of 6, he joined NK Grbci 2000, a small club near Rijeka which only developed young players. At a youth tournament in Trieste, he was noticed by Juventus scouts while playing for Grbci.

He had join San Luigi Calcio before Juventus itself because he was a foreign player under 16. Immediately after joining, at a youth tournament in Paris which included the likes of: PSG, Lille, Toulouse, Marseille, Rennes, Strasbourg & Porto - he won the best player award despite Juventus finishing third.

Borna plays in the central midfield with a role of a B2B midfielder. Outstanding technical ability with an amazing passing range. Low centre of gravity gives him an edge in tight spaces. Physically also great, posses great speed and endurance which shows off in his pressing.
He's also a threat from set pieces, showed off by the goal against Slovenia. He's currently part of Juventus U16, where he spent the last half-season. He didn't play much this season because Italian youth leagues have been canceled because of Covid. He played a few friendlies.

He made one appearance for Croatia's youth national teams, for the U15s against Slovenia.

Wonder if he's gonna get promoted to U17s this season or even higher. He's a big talent with big potential and I hope he develops well, not that easy to move to another country that young and still keep your feet on the ground.
