Mionić developed in the Istra 1961 academy until he was 16-years-old when he moved abroad from the U17's to AC Milan in Jan. 2018. He played for Milan U17 at first but quickly got promoted to the U19's in the 18/19 season. Currently still playing for the U19's in Primavera 1.
He's a central midfielder with exceptional dribbling skills along with great vision - tries to play killer balls often Has a good shot in him too, especially from long range. Specialist at set pieces and penalty kicks also.
He has been very close to making his AC Milan debut, was on the bench for a couple of times. He's currently an undisputed starter for Milan U19 in Primavera 1 after getting promoted from Primavera 2 last season.
Primavera 2a (19/20) - 2 goals / 4 assists
He was also a regular for the youth Croatia national teams but didn't get called up for a bit because of the pandemic. (Primavera 1 cancelled from Sept. - Jan.)
Croatia U17 - 4 caps
Croatia U19 - 5 caps / 1 goal
He'll turn 20-years-old this month so I'm interested in what his next step is going to be. Getting loaned out to a Serie A club would be fantastic, if he gets minutes that is. His contract expires in 2023 so he's still tied down with AC Milan for a bit.
